Subprocessors
Last updated 2026-06-20
To run Puzzle Collector we rely on a small set of trusted service providers ("subprocessors") that process personal information on our behalf, each under a data processing agreement and only as needed to perform their function. This page lists them. It is the current list referenced in our Privacy Policy, and we update it as our providers change.
We are based in the United States and our providers store and process data in the United States. For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards — the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider participates, and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Current subprocessors
| Provider | Role | Data processed | Region | Transfer safeguard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file/image storage | Account details (email, name), your collection data and uploaded images, authentication sessions | United States | SCCs |
| Vercel | Application hosting and content delivery; provides the approximate-location header used once at signup | IP address and standard request metadata at request time | United States (global edge network) | DPF / SCCs |
| Resend | Sending transactional and opted-in email | Email address, name, and the contents of the message (e.g. sign-in links, lending notifications) | United States | DPF / SCCs |
| Anthropic | AI import — extracts puzzle details from a web page you choose to import | The text content of that page only; not your account or collection data. Under Anthropic's API terms this content is not used to train their models. | United States | SCCs |
We do not sell your personal information, use third-party advertising, or run third-party analytics or tracking. Beyond the providers above, we share your information only with other people when you choose to (for example by making your collection public, lending a puzzle, or inviting a friend), when required by law, or as part of a business transfer in which the recipient must honor our Privacy Policy.
Changes
